A new promo poster for Game of Thrones teases the final season coming in 2019. HBO?s critically-acclaimed fantasy TV series ? based on George R.R. Martin?s A Song of Ice and Fire novel series ? is nearing its end with a truncated eighth and final season. Because the season is set primarily in the wintertime, the season?s production schedule was delayed to film during the winter. And so, Game of Thrones? final season was also delayed until 2019.
