Karen Gillan used to be "delusional" about her acting abilities.
She admitted she thought she was more talented than she actually was.
She believes her success comes from a re-evaluation of herself as an actress.
When she first started, she got rejected a lot.
But, she didn't let it phase her.
She also did not learn from her failures and short comings.
So, what changed?
I had an awakening when I realized I wasn't as good as I thought I was - I watched myself in something and thought, 'Oh my God, this is terrible, I need to get back to work on this and figure out how this is done.'
