The "Riverdale" spinoff, "Sabrina" has cast actor Richard Coyle in the upcoming series.
Coyle will play Father Blackwood, a villain who does not appear in the Archie Comics source material.
Coyle is best known for his roles in "Covert Affairs," "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time," and the UK sitcom "Coupling."
His character is being described as ?High Priest of the Church of Night and Dean of the Academy of the Unseen Arts."
The adaptation of "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" will focus on the dark magical underbelly of the Archie Comics world.
"Mad Men"?s Kiernan Shipka will be playing the title role.
Sabrina will debut sometime in 2018 on Netflix.
