Roku CEO Anthony Wood recently discussed the future of streaming, and explained his company's success.
Wood explained how Roku thrives in competition with giants like Apple and Amazon
He attributed its success to several factors, foremost among them its superior software designed specifically for TVs.
The company's goal is to get its software platform onto as many devices as possible.
Unlike Apple, Amazon, and Google, Roku doesn't produce or sell its own video shows. Roku thereby maintains its status as a neutral player, supporting all streaming services, from Netflix to Hulu to Youtube.
