In 2009 Roman Polanski was arrested in Switzerland. During that time Natalie Portman signed a petition calling for his release. Yet now the actress says she regrets signing that petition. She said her eyes ?were not open? at the time. Polanski is deemed a fugitive of the United States for a sentence on a sexual assault case. Although he was arrested on a warrant, he was freed in 2010.
