Paul Thomas Anderson, whose latest film 'Phantom Thread' was nominated for six Oscars is a huge fan of actress Tiffany Haddish. In an interview with the LA Times, Anderson calls Haddish a ?thrilling performer," adding, "Don?t just be fooled by how funny she is. It feels like I?ve known her for a long time, which is weird. I?ve talked to her on the telephone. I?ve never even met her." When asked about the possibility of Haddish and Anderson?s wife Maya Rudolph starring in a future movie together, he said, ?Absolutely! That?s a combustible combination, the two of them. That?s what you dream of as a director."
