Tessa Thompson is set to star in and produce a new heist movie based on the life of jewel thief Doris Payne.
Payne is now 87. Her criminal record goes back to the 1950s.
Tessa will produce the movie with Codeblack Films, which has obtained the rights to Payne's life story.
Payne's most high-profile heist was in the 1970s.
She stole a diamond ring valued at $500,000 in Monte Carlo.
The movie has been described as a "high-concept action-drama", similar to 'Catch Me If You Can'.
