Meghan Markle will soon become a member of the British royal family.
Markle and Prince Harry are set to wed on May 19 at St. George's Chapel in Windsor.
Markle is a US citizen and is living in the UK on a family visa.
Markle won't be granted permanent residency until she's lived in the UK for five years.
The Washington Post reported that Markle could "cause tax headaches" and create some "mundane hurdles" for the royal family.
