Some new artwork from director George Miller?s 'Justice League: Mortal' have come to light.
The images show a glimpse of the intended funeral scene for Batman.
Before the DC Films Universe was real, Miller had been making plans to bring the team to life.
...As an adaptation of Mark Waid?s 'Tower of Babel' and the 'Justice League: Unlimited' animated series.
The original cast was going to be Armie Hammer as Batman, D.J. Cotrona as Superman, Megan Gale as Wonder Woman, Adam Brody as The Flash, and Santiago Cabrera as Aquaman.
Alas, it was not to be, but at least the characters are now on the big screen!
