Zadie Smith just released a new collection of essays titled 'Feel Free.' It's Smith?s seventh book since she burst onto the literary scene at the age of 24. Her debut novel, White Teeth, was set in the racially diverse North London in which she grew up. Her subsequent novels won awards including the Orange Prize and the Women?s Prize for Fiction. Smith has been living in New York for the past 10 years. Through her essays she?s become an invaluable investigator of American culture.
