VIDEO : Who Will Play Title Role In Standalone 'Joker' Movie?

DC Films is reportedly working on a Joker origin story from 'The Hangover' director Todd Phillips. Now, Variety says actor Joaquin Phoenix is in talks to play the Joker in the movie. Studio negotiations have not yet begun, but the report says Phoenix is Todd Phillips clear frontrunner for the role. A release date for the standalone film has not yet been announced.
