John Mahoney died at the age of 77 from multiple causes. The actor faced brain disease, lung cancer, seizures, kidney disease and diabetes. He was in hospice care in Chicago at the time of his death. Mahoney is known best for his role as Martin Crane in the show ?Frasier.? The actor played that role for 11 years, from 1993 to 2004.
