VIDEO : Director Of 'I Am Legend' Not Interested in Making Sequel Or Prequel

The ?I Am Legend? franchise made nearly $600 million worldwide. And the studio suggested making a prequel or a sequel. Yet director Francis Lawrence said he had no interest in doing so. When the studio came to him for a sequel, Lawrence said he simply didn?t know how to do it. Lawrence said it would not be possible to do a sequel since the main character dies. He also said he did not want to do a prequel because it felt ?forced.?
