VIDEO : Mamie Gummer Joins Cast of 'True Detective' Season 3

Actress Mamie Gummer has joined the cast of HBO's anthology show 'True Detective' for the program's third season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she will play a character named Lucy Purcell, a young mother of two at the center of a tragic crime. Gummer's recent small screen credits include CBS' 'The Good Wife', CBS All Access' The Good Fight, WGN America's 'Manhattan' and Amazon's 'The Collection'. 'True Detective' season 3, which focuses on a crime in the heart of the Ozarks and a mystery that deepens over decades, is set to air sometime in 2019.
