Actress Uma Thurman has spoken out about her sexual assault by former Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. In the New York Times, Thurman details two instances where Weinstein acted inappropriately. One, in Paris where he tried to force her into a sauna with him, and the other in London, where he shoved himself on top of her. Thurman continued on to say how regretful she is for not speaking out earlier, and how many women were attacked by Weinstein after her experience. Thurman is one of the many who have spoken out about Weinstein. Since the original New York Times exposé, more than 80 women have come forward to share their horror-stories concerning Weinstein.
