According to reports, Stan Lee has been admitted to a hospital.
TMZ initially reported that the elder comic-book creator fell ill at his home in California.
Reports stated Lee suffered from shortness of breath and an irregular heartbeat.
Though he is now in stable condition, Lee was admitted to Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, where he remains.
The 95-year-old was forced to cancel a pair of appearances due to his health last year.
The author and former Marvel editor-in-chief was also supposed to drop the puck for an Arizona Coyotes pre-game in January, but cancelled as well.
