The U.S. Olympics Committee knew about Larry Nassar since 2015. USA Gymnastics alerted the committee about the potential sexual misconduct towards its athletes. In the email it says it was being done by a member of its medical staff. One of those athletes who had reported their experiences was McKayla Maroney. She told them Nassar may be getting some sexual gratification in the way he was treating her.
