As many viewers have expected, Netflix's take on Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events has an end date in mind. Star and producer Neil Patrick Harris confirmed speculation that the previously announced third season would be the show's last. Sources note that a three-season plan was always what Netflix had in mind. Season one covered the first four of the 13-book series, while season two is expected to cover five through nine, and the third and final run will cover the last four.
