According to producer and star Neil Patrick Harris ? who plays the dastardly Count Olaf ? Netflix?s A Series of Unfortunate Events TV show will end after season 3.
In an interview with TV Guide, Harris confirmed that Netflix is sticking to their plan and concluding the Baudelaires? adventures in season 3. He also spoke about adapting Lemony Snicket?s (pen name of Daniel Handler) beloved book series:
?We?ve intentionally been very truthful and factual and loyal to the books. We?ve added a few characters that aren?t in the books, we?ve added some songs that you probably couldn?t put into the books, but for the most part we?re sticking to the structure of what already worked.?
Netflix?s A Series of Unfortunate Events TV show has indeed been praised for how well it has stayed faithful to the original books ? while at the same time, adding some surprising twists along the way.
