The Passion of the Christ star Jim Caviezel said director Mel Gibson?s sequel to the 2004 blockbuster film should be moving forward, and that he will once again play Jesus. The Passion of the Christ was released in 2004 and was a massive hit worldwide. It earned 370 million dollars at the domestic box office and more than 241 million overseas, against its 30 million dollar budget. The rated "R" movie was one of a few adult movies to make more than 300 million dollars stateside.
