Wonder Woman was met with universal acclaim. Director Patty Jenkins and star Gal Gadot shattered the glass ceiling for female superheroes, and the film grossed a superb $821 million at the global box office. In domestic terms, it was actually DC?s highest-grossing film, making over $412 million.
