The Sundance film festival is fast becoming a hub for virtual reality movers and shakers to do business.
Los Angeles-based startup Positron used the event to recently announce the next generation of its VR motion chair, Voyager.
The chair's goal is to offer an unparalleled experience that adds to the immersive quality of VR content.
While seated, users can rotate 360 degrees without standing up, and recline through a 35-degree range of motion.
Several different units can be synchronized, so a group can enjoy the same content concurrently
At Sundance 2018, Positron announced that it had secured $1.4 million in seed funding, inking deals with Other World Computing and Lazar Ventures.
