On Monday, Airbnb announced a competition which will offer three winners a chance to win a stay on the research vessel used in the series "Planet Earth: Blue Planet II." The contest - held in in partnership with BBC America - will allow winners to each bring one guest aboard the OceanX Alucia, and comes complete with a chance at underwater exploration. "Planet Earth: Blue Planet II" became the most-watched nature documentary on ad-supported TV in nearly eight years, with the premiere bringing in close to 3 million viewers. Producer Orla Doherty will host the Airbnb, offering guests a two night stay on the ship, as well as another two nights on land-based rental homes. While onboard, guests will be able to explore ocean life - both through the stories from the expedition crew as well as through first-hand experience, in one of the research team?s two submersibles.
