On Monday, the Syfy channel announced that the series 'Happy!' has been renewed for a second season. The dark comedy stars Christopher Meloni as down-on-his-luck hitman Nick Sax and Patton Oswalt as the voice of his imaginary friend Happy, a flying blue unicorn. NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment president Chris McCumber said of the renewal, "HAPPY! struck a chord with our SYFY audience and disrupted the TV landscape with its unique storytelling and outrageous performances led by Christopher Meloni." The show's first season concludes this Wednesday at 10 PM.
