Ed Sheeran won two Grammy Awards for his album "Divide" and hit single "Shape of You" on Sunday.
However, the singer-songwriter was notably absent from the awards ceremony.
Sheeran beat out Kesha, for her powerful single "Praying," and Lady Gaga, for her emotional song "Million Reasons."
Twitter users and celebrities speculated on the social media platform as to why the musician was a no-show.
Sheeran and his representatives have not yet issued a statement in regard to the matter.
