VIDEO : Paul Bettany to Join Netflix's 'The Crown' as Prince Philip?

According to the Hollywood Reporter, actor Paul Bettany is near a deal to play Prince Philip on Netflix's 'The Crown'. He would take over the role from Matt Smith, who played the prince in the drama's first two seasons. Other new main castmembers taking over in season 3 include Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II and Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret. The two actresses take over for Claire Foy and Vanessa Kirby, respectively. The third season of 'The Crown' is expected to hit Netflix in the autumn of 2019.
