VIDEO : Samuel L. Jackson Was Supposed to Die Onscreen In 'Jurassic Park'

Samuel L. Jackson as Dr. Arnold was originally supposed to die onscreen in 1993's "Jurassic Park." In the finished movie, Jackson's character dies but it's implied rather than shown. In a recent interview with A.V. Club, Jackson revealed that a hurricane destroyed all the sets in Hawaii before they were able to film the death scene, so director Steven Spielberg had to rework the scene.
