VIDEO : Did Rian Johnson Just Troll Star Wars Fans?

Celebrity in this news:

Since Star Wars: The Last Jedi came out in December, Rian Johnson has spent approximately 80 percent of his free time defending the film (which is very good, mind you) to anonymous Twitter trolls claiming he ruined their childhood because something something Luke Skywalker something something. But on Friday, he finally fired back, and unlike every Stormtrooper, he hit his target.
It began innocuously enough, with Johnson tweeting the eyes emoji.
He was directing attention to what appears to be his book-filled office or study. A closer inspection reveals Fyodor Dostoyevsky?s The Idiot, The Wes Anderson Collection, Joseph Cambell?s Transformations of Myth through Time, and?
That?s The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force next to Book of Sith: Secrets from the Dark Side (which looks like the best Queens of the Stone Age album that doesn?t exist). Was Johnson proving a point about the Jedi and the Sith existing peacefully next to each other? Not exactly.
An advanced Jedi ? like, say, Luke Skywalker ? is able to produce a doppelgänger, allowing them to ?create short lived duplicate of him or herself or an external object that is visually undistinguishable from the real item. Those who have perfected this ability can create phantoms of any person of their choosing or trick an enemy into seeing more objects such as droids than are actually present.? Sound familiar? Rather than tweet, ?WHAT HAPPENED TO LUKE SKYWALKER IS CANON, YOU NERDS,? though, Johnson backed away.
