The twee twas honoring Carpenter?s 70th birthday, and Rotten Tomatoes wrote, ? John Carpenter would have been 70 years old today! We celebrate his birthday by looking back at his five favorite films." The Tweet was captured by Bloody Disgusting writer John Squires which prompted Rotten Tomatoes to quickly delete the tweet, and post a new one with an apology that referenced Carpenters' 1980 film "The Fog."
