News came out that Mark Wahlberg was paid $1.5 million for re-shoots in Ridley Scott's film "All the Money in the World" while star of the film Michelle Williams was only paid $1,000. Director of the film had to do re-shoots because of the choice to replace Kevin Spacey with Christopher Plummer after Spacey was accused of sexual misconduct. Yet some stars were surprised and unhappy with the wage gap between Wahlberg and Williams. Actor Liam Neeson said that a discussion must happen about the wage gap between actors and stated: "We started it, so we have to be part of the solution." On the other hand, actress Dianne Kruger said that women "need to be more conscious when we make deals, to be strong and stay united."
