Spoilers ahead for The Walking Dead fans who aren't caught up on the TV series coming in 3, 2, 1. Robert Kirkman promises fans of his comic the TV series won't rule out upcoming stories due to Carl's sudden death. ?There are big, huge stories coming up that you might think will be massively altered because of the absence of Carl,? Kirkman said. ?But we have known these story lines have been coming for years. There are plans in place to make it all work." Comic book readers ,may think of the Whisperer War story, Carl's actions with the leader's daughter seem to cause the war. Kirkman, however, is confident the TV series will adapt the story -- or simply move forward without it. The Walking Dead returns for the second half of its eighth season on February 25, 2018.
