Jude Law says he learned Albus Dumbledore?s entire backstory to prepare for "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald." The sequel to 2016?s "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" stars Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, Law as a young Dumbledore, and other celebrities including Johnny Depp, Zoe Kravitz, and Ezra Miller. On the red carpet for the Golden Globes Sunday, Law revealed that he had a ?magical? afternoon with writer J.K. Rowling, explaining, ?I sat in a room for an afternoon with J.K. Rowling, and I listened to her extraordinary words of wisdom. She was kind enough to share with me the whole backstory and her future hopes for this young character of Dumbledore and really that set me on the path."
