VIDEO : Sara Bareilles Joins 'Jesus Christ Superstar' Live

Sara Bareilles has joined the cast of NBC's "Jesus Christ Superstar Live." The singer/songwriter will play Mary Magdalene opposite John Legend and Alice Cooper. The live production is set to air live from Marcy Armory in Brooklyn, N.Y., on April 1. Legend will star as Jesus Christ, and rock legend Alice Cooper will take on the part of King Herod. Bareilles is a six-time Grammy nominee and earned a Tony for best original score for "Waitress."
