'War for the Planet of the Apes' director Matt Reeves has signed a first-look deal with streaming company Netflix. According to Deadline, Reeves has agreed to give Netflix first priority at any films his production company, 6th & Idaho, decides to direct or produce. According to Reeves, 6th & Idaho will be on the lookout for ?thrilling, character-centered? genres that it will then partner with Netflix to produce. In addition to helming 'Dawn for the Planet of the Apes' and 'Cloverfield', Reeves is slated to also direct the upcoming solo 'Batman' project.
