VIDEO : Disney Merger Won't Affect Fox's Adult Programming

Fox executives and producers said Thursday, Walt Disney Co executives have voiced support for the Fox television studio?s adult-oriented programming. Development is continuing as usual while a proposed merger undergoes regulatory review.
In December, Disney announced plans to acquire the Fox TV studio, the FX and National Geographic cable channels and other assets from Rupert Murdoch?s Twenty-First Century Fox conglomerate.
Fox produces edgy adult comedies such as ?Family Guy? and gory dramas such as ?American Horror Story.? They contrast with Disney?s family-friendly movies and TV shows.
