VIDEO : DeWanda Wise Joins Cast of 'Captain Marvel'

Actress DeWanda Wise has joined the cast of the 'Captain Marvel' movie in a big role. As of now, there is no word on who Wise, best known for starring in the Netflix series 'She's Gott Have It', will play. According to Deadline, due to the size of the role, Wise may be playing Monica Rambeau, the best friend in the comics of Brie Larson's Carol Danvers. 'Captain Marvel' is currently scheduled to hit the big screen on March 8, 2019.
