'Alien' director Ridley Scott is reportedly in talks to direct Disney's upcoming film ?The Merlin Saga." The movie, based on a series of books from author T.A. Barron, follows the origin story of a young Merlin who eventually becomes the legendary King Arthur's mentor. Scott?s production banner Scott Free will also produce the movie alongside Gil Netter with Philippa Boyens providing the screenplay. In addition, reports say Scott is also said to be in negotiations with Disney on another King Arthur-related live action project titled ?Sword in the Stone."
