VIDEO : She's Gotta Have It Actress Joins Captain Marvel Film

It looks like Captain Marvel has landed its newest star. A new report from Deadline has confirmed DeWanda Wise has nabbed a role opposite of Brie Larson in the Marvel Studios blockbuster.
Wise, known for her work on the Spike Lee Netflix series She's Gotta Have It, is joining Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel in a supporting role,
Wise stars as Nola Darling on She's Gotta Have It, which began streaming in November, and recently got renewed for a second Season.
And last year she was seen in the Fox event series Shot's Fired.
