VIDEO : Streep Says Hoffman Slap Was 'Too Much'

Meryl Streep has opened up on her experience of shooting 'Kramer vs. Kramer' with Dustin Hoffman. Streep has recalled Hoffman slapping her during a scene in the film. Streep admits she always felt Hoffman overstepped the boundaries as an actor with his action. But Streep can never forget that on her first day on set being spontaneously struck by her co-star. Although, she can accept that Hoffman was in character and committed to his art she feels that his action would not be acceptable during a shoot now.
