VIDEO : Freeform to End 'The Fosters' After Fifth Season

The Freeform channel will reportedly end its series 'The Fosters' this summer after the show's fifth season with a three-night limited series finale event. The network will then premiere a new spinoff set to revolve around actresses' Maia Mitchell and Cierra Ramirez, who play adopted siblings in the Foster family. Additional casting for the spinoff is expected be announced later. The second half of 'The Fosters' season five, which consists on 10 episodes, returns January 9 at 8 PM on Freeform.
