The popular science fiction series "The X-Files" first premiered on September 10th, 1993 and it ran until May 19th, 2002. In 2016 it returned for a six-episode revival on Fox and an 11th season premieres tonight, Wednesday, January 3rd. The show's stars, Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny, spoke with Uproxx about what it's like to be in the "X-Files" world in the year 2018. Duchovny said, "There are interesting questions to be asked about how you play a character years later, or how the world has changed to either catch up to that character or make them utterly obsolete." Anderson added that the Scully/Mulder dynamic hasn't changed at all and that Scully's character "is still a scientist and a doctor" even though her "degree of skepticism has shifted somewhat."
