The Republican President is unpopular will liberals and progressives across the country.
His base, however, love him.
The 2018 midterms will be a referendum on his presidency.
His party hopes to gain seats in the House and Senate.
But to do that, Republicans need moderate voters and independents to vote for them.
Democrats, right now, are fighting each other for control of the Democratic party.
Establishment Democrats are courting Independents.
Democratic Socialists and Progressives, and Bernie Sanders boosters are alienating Independent voters with radical ideas.
