VIDEO : Slender Man Movie Trailer Brings the Urban Myth to the Big Screen

The Slender Man urban legend originated from a spooky internet meme in 2009. The tall lanky monster with a featureless face, black suit, and a penchant for kidnapping or traumatizing children was created by Eric Knudsen. A recent HBO documentary examined the well reported incident in 2014 where a 12 year old girl was nearly stabbed to death in connection with the slender man monster. The slender man fascination continues as An official trailer has finally arrived for the Slender Man movie, a fictionalized cinematic narrative, being helmed by the director Sylvain White. The new horror film is set to hit theaters in mid May this year.
