VIDEO : Pokemon Go Experiences Short Weather Outage

Pokemon Go has recently added a new feature that ties the local weather patterns to the game by providing boosted attacks and increased spawns of certain types of Pokemon, depending on the weather. The new system was already not perfect but it faced an outage last night. The outage basically wiped out the new system and took away any of the new benefits that it provided players. Around 2 a.m. Eastern Time, Niantic Support tweeted that they were working on the problem. By 8 a.m. Eastern Time the problem was fixed.
