Samuel L Jackson loves to be on screen, not behind the scenes. And although many actors at some point wish to become directors of their own films, Jackson has no desire to step behind the camera. After making over 175 movies in his lifetime, Jackson has said that directing would be take up too much of his time. He said there goes so much into that process, like dealing with the music and promoting it, and that he rather act in several movies in one year than simply direct one. And although he has no desire to do so at the moment he completely thinks he'd be capable of doing it some day.
