Fans of the Marvel character Wolverine in Alberta, Canada are campaigning to have a statue built for the region?s most famous mutant. According to a statement from the campaign, fans want the statue built in the area Fort McMurray as a symbol of hope and rebirth for a region that has struggled with economic issues and a devastating wildfire in recent years. Despite lots of reported support, even if the Wolverine campaign gets enough funding, it would still need permission from Marvel to put the statue on display.
