Matt Damon's dad Kent has passed away at the age of 74. Damon's rep revealed that Kent died on December 14 after losing his battle with cancer. Matt recently canceled his appearance at the BAFTA Awards and other work commitments to be by his dad's side. Seven years ago, Kent revealed that he was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a blood cancer that affects the bone marrow. A year later, he was in remission.
