David Ayer's Suicide Squad wasn't as well received as he hoped, but that won?t keep him from going back for more. During promotion for Ayer?s new Netflix project, Bright, he was asked about the reaction to Suicide Squad, specifically reviews of the film. ayer stated, ?I got my throat cut. It was a super polarizing movie. Incredibly polarizing." Ayer admits the reaction to the film shook him up a bit. But he also recognized part of being a director is staying in business and putting yourself into another project, and that's precisely what he did.
