According to Variety, heading into the weekend 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' will reportedly cross the $650 million mark at the world wide box office. Variety adds that the film took in an additional $17.8 million domestically Thursday this week, bringing that haul up to $296.5 million in the first week. This number is the second biggest first week take of all time behind the film's predecessor The Force Awakens, which brought in $390.9 million. Earnings for 'The Last Jedi' brings an impressive end to an already huge year for Disney films, which have made over $5 billion at the box office.
