VIDEO : Bill Skarsgard Drove As Pennywise To Audition

Bill Skarsgard played Pennywise the Clown in the reboot movie of Stephen King?s, ?It.? Tim Curry is well known for his portrayal in the made-for-tv version of ?It? released in 1990. Skarsgard was nervous for the audition and had to make some last minute decisions when he was asked to wear simple clown makeup for his callback. Skarsgard stated, ?I ended up asking my girlfriend to put some makeup on that morning, and then I get into the car and had to drive across L.A. in this clown makeup. I pretty much just stayed in character through the whole thing. It was one of the most bizarre things I?ve ever done. It sums up my approach to this character.
